Although Twilight and New Moon star Robert Pattinson has years to catch up to George Clooney as a sexy, handsome leading man, Pattinson got a few indirect words from Clooney who recently joked about Robert Pattinson with Up in the Air co-star Anna Kendrick of The Twilight Saga, suggesting that Pattinson was younger, sexier, and more handsome.
During a recent appearance on The View for Up in the Air, Twilight Saga actress Anna Kendrick, who co-starred alongside Robert Pattinson in Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, revealed that George Clooney constantly teased her about Robert Pattinson while she was on the set of the Clooney toplined film. Anna Kendrick told The View hosts that George gave her a hard time about Robert Pattinson and Twilight, as Kendrick joked, "Whenever I came back, it was like, 'Oh sorry, this isn't the Twilight set. You're not working with Mr. Handsome'. He called Rob 'Mr. Handsome'."
Although it was all in good Twilight Pattinson fun since George Clooney really can't be threatened by the star power of Robert Pattinson, Clooney was somewhat thankful he didn't have to vie for a role alongside Pattinson. In an interview with OK! Magazine during the New York Film Critic’s Circle Awards, George Clooney joked with the outlet, saying how he was glad not to compete with Pattinson for movie roles. "Thank God I don’t have to," Clooney revealed. "He’s young and handsome and talented."
