According to reports, Pattinson, 23, and Stewart, 19, posed for photos with a young female fan outside a grocery store on New Year's Eve and then retreated to their hideout on the Isle of Wight, 80 miles south of London. And when the pics hit a localblog, fans crowded the island in search of the alleged couple, reports People.
"All the young girls have been trying to find him. They have been out on a hunt," the New York Daily News quoted store manager Jez Harmer as saying. But the hunt ended in disappointment for the young fans, as the couple apparently vanished. "It's literally a mystery," said Harmer, referring to the celebrity couple's whereabouts.
